Press Operator / Supervisor 2nd shift

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced 2nd Shift Press Operator Supervisor to lead press operations in the manufacturing of precision metal components.

This position is responsible for supervising 2nd shift press operators, maintaining production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and upholding a safe working environment.

Lead and manage the 2nd shift press operation team to meet or exceed production and quality goals.

Oversee machine setups, operation, and troubleshooting of stamping presses and related equipment.

Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures during 2nd shift operations.

Conduct shift startup meetings, assign tasks, and monitor operator performance.

Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to operators to enhance skills and productivity.

Maintain accurate documentation of shift production data, incidents, and maintenance needs.

Experience in a press operation or metal stamping environment; supervisory experience required.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and resolve equipment or process issues.

Working knowledge of safety, quality control, and lean manufacturing practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.

Willingness to work 2nd shift hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
