• Understand and execute to a set of specified instructions (sequenced based control, work instructions, drawings, etc.)
• Execute proper start-up and shut-down of machine.
• Set-up, load and operate brake or punch press to planned arrangements.
• Evaluate, correct, and take actions necessary to prevent external quality (size & defects) issues.
• Select (grinders, abrasives, etc.) and utilize a variety of metal finishing tools to meet specified surface requirements.
• Utilize a variety of material lifting devices (cranes, positioners, magnets, hooks, etc.)
• Utilize a variety of material control devices (fixtures, templates, etc.)
• Work responsibly and safely at all times. MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Perform additional activities of execution as required.
• Participate in the plan to organize, control and maintain the work environment. Read and Write in English for Operational Functions and Preventative Maintenance. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Obtain a score of 100% on forming and general shop assessment within 1 week of job placement. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Previous forming experience preferred.
