Role Overview
Nexus Link Electromechanical is hiring a Presales Engineer specializing in ELV systems.
The role designs, presents, and delivers ELV solutions, supports the sales team, and addresses building security and integration needs.
The engineer will understand client requirements, provide technical recommendations, design systems, and prepare cost-effective proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client requirements, project specifications, drawings, BOQs, tender documents, and scopes of work.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, BOQs, cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and equipment lists.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical information, compliance documents, and competitive prices.
- Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, datasheets, and method statements when required.
- Coordinate system designs and technical solutions with design and engineering teams.
- Ensure proposed solutions comply with specifications, UAE regulations, and international standards.
- Follow up on proposals, provide technical clarification during presales and handover, and support sales targets.
- Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers while monitoring market trends and opportunities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or a related field is required.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in ELV systems design, estimation, and integration is required.
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, access control, building management systems, public address systems, and structured cabling, is required.
- Experience preparing quotations, BOQs, technical proposals, and tender submissions is required.
- Knowledge of tender preparation and Etisalat and du NOC clearance is required.
- Relevant ELV certifications are preferred, and a SIRA certificate is advantageous.
- Understanding of the UAE ELV market and project requirements is preferred.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into viable technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
