We are currently looking for a Preconstruction Engineer to join our Preconstruction team located at our office in Granite City, IL .

Our ideal candidate for a Preconstruction Engineer is someone who has2-5+ years of experience in HVAC Design.

We are seeking a mechanical design engineer who is looking to grow their engineering capabilities and work in Pursuing Projects.

Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative work environment.

You will provide mechanical engineering design and support during the project pursuit phase of preconstruction, including design, project planning, budgeting, and value engineering.

You will also be working closely with our project management, estimating, and engineering teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Primary responsibilities for iENG’s Preconstruction Engineer include:

• Coordinate with customers to develop a conceptual design for many different types of facilities.
• Providing technical expertise in mechanical engineering and systems, including HVAC, ductwork, and piping, to assist with project planning and design development.
