Position Overview
The Pre-Sales Engineer provides technical expertise for audio-visual and integrated technology solutions throughout the sales cycle.
The role covers solution design, demonstrations, proof of concepts, tender and quotation support, documentation, post-sales installation support, troubleshooting, and training.
Responsibilities
- Review quotations and prepare tender responses, pricing, compliance documents, and supporting materials.
- Collaborate with departments, technical personnel, and subject matter experts to complete responses within set timeframes.
- Answer technical questions and translate technical information into clear, client-friendly content.
- Prepare and review drawings, schematics, rack layouts, cable schedules, and other technical documents.
- Develop cost estimates and quotations for design, coordination, supply, and installation services.
- Prequalify bids for technical suitability and commercial viability before proposal submission.
- Provide project and client insights during formal handover meetings to support delivery.
- Maintain document templates, internal tools, pre-sales standards, and video conferencing room designs.
- Assist sales and account managers with proposals, solutioning, costing, pricing, and client requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of the product portfolio, vendor updates, competitive landscape, and client needs.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role.
- Crestron, Extron, and QSC certifications are specified as standard.
- Technical competence in CAD and Visio is required.
- The role requires understanding of technical drawings, schematics, cable schedules, cost estimates, and commercial impacts.
Work Arrangement
- The work arrangement is Work From Home.
- Work hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM AEST.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary is PHP 40,000–PHP 60,000 per month.
