About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Pre Sales Engineer specializing in BMC Helix ITSM to support enterprise sales engagements.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales team and partner managers throughout the sales cycle, helping customers understand the value of BMC Helix solutions through discovery sessions, solution presentations, product demonstrations, and technical consulting.
  • This is a customer facing role requiring strong communication, presentation, and solution consulting skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales Managers and Partner Managers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Understand customer business challenges and map them to BMC Helix solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
  • Prepare solution presentations, technical proposals, and solution architectures.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions and requirement gathering.
  • Design high level solution architectures based on customer requirements.
  • Support solution sizing, effort estimation, and licensing discussions.
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre sales to implementation.
  • Position BMC Helix solutions effectively against competing ITSM platforms.
  • Support partner enablement activities and technical presentations.
  • Represent the company during customer meetings, seminars, webinars, and industry events.

Mandatory Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in ITSM Pre Sales, Solution Consulting, or Technical Consulting.
  • Strong experience with BMC Helix ITSM.
  • Experience conducting enterprise product demonstrations and customer presentations.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and IT Service Management best practices.
  • Experience preparing technical proposals and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
