Description: Inman Solar is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Pre-Construction Engineer.

Working as an integral part of a knowledgeable and experienced team, the candidate will be involved in civil-design and pre-construction-related aspects of solar projects and will see projects from conceptual design through start of mechanical installation and ultimately support with final completion.

The candidate will be responsible for creating civil-related drawings used to communicate scopes of work to consultants and subcontractors (e.g. staking plans for surveyors, Bill-of-Material takeoffs for civil pricing and inputs for grading models).

also include managing internal and external resources performing on-site pre-con activities, verifying that work adheres to standards and design, resolving RFIs and ensuring proper seamless handoff from pre-con to vertical construction.

The Pre-Construction Engineer is an integral part of the project team reporting progress and schedule to project management.

• Educational background or industry experience in civil or mechanical engineering
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience preferred; CAD expertise required
