The Opportunity

  • Exciting opportunity for a Practice Executive (Senior Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant) to join the Melbourne Corporate Transactions team on a full time, permanent basis.
  • Provide high level business support to Partners within the Corporate Transactions team, including a Board member.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Board member administrative support.
  • Practice & Client Management.
  • Extensive Diary & Travel Management.
  • Monitoring and managing inboxes for Partners including filing emails.
  • Preparing monthly bills and reconciling expenses.
  • Business Development/Marketing.
  • Client reporting.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience as a Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant.
  • High degree of initiative, pro activity and problem solving skills.
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to understand the commercial drivers of a legal practice.
  • A client focused approach including the ability to grow a network of professional relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail.
