Powertrain System Control design

• B.E / B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering

• Academic/Industrial Project experience related to HEV system design or simulation/testing
• M.E. / M. Tech Course with relevant electives

Designs, develops and tests control system for hybrid powertrains.

Prepare functions and Control algorithms such as State transition Diagram & Conditions, Torque control (Protection & restriction), Thermal behavior estimations & management, Vehicle Controls, functional safety, and cyber security.

Engine and HCU Software Verification and Validation

Work with System team to identify the system requirements, electrical interfaces & calibration items

Perform functional testing, System/Component/Vehicle Benchmarking.

Create DOE for testing and benchmarking.

Develop control strategies for HEV systems, including engine control, integration of motor control and battery management at vehicle level optimizing performance and responsiveness.

Integrate hardware and software components within HEV system, ensuring seamless communication and operation.

Analyze system performance data and identify areas of improvement, optimizing control strategies for efficiency and fuel economy.

Identify and resolve technical issues within HEV control systems, ensuring reliable operation.
