Typical activities involve ( but are not limited to) : Analysis and definition of planning principles; Power System Model definition and validation; Enhancing methodologies to plan power systems facing massive RES & BESS integration, demand evolution and optimisation of transmission investments; Mastering links with technico-economic models to define critical operating points; Steady-state analysis (load flow, short circuit calculations, hosting capacity, etc); Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, transient & voltage stability..); Support the analysis and evaluation of grid reliability and security (eg capacity calculation, balancing, operational planning..); Writing reports presenting results of the analysis; Support the company’s business development teams in identifying and pursuing opportunities by establishing trusted relationships with our clients and developing of proposals. Your responsibilities will be decided based on your competencies and expertise and will be discussed during your interviews with managers. Your profile Master's degree in Engineering; 3+ years of experience in Power System Planning (Master planning, pre-feasibility of new transmission investments, RES system integration, BESS optimization, sizing state-of-the-art technological solutions,…); Mastering power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE) Team Player Good oral presentation skills Fluent in English; Knowledge of Arabic is a strong asset.
