- Methods is recruiting for a Power BI / Power Apps Developer to join our team within the Public Sector Business unit on a permanent basis.
- This role will be mainly remote but require flexibility to travel to client sites, and our offices based in London, Sheffield.
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Power BI / Power Apps Developer to design, build, and maintain high-impact business solutions. You will be the go-to expert for turning raw data into actionable insights and creating custom applications that streamline our operations. Your focus will be on building scalable, high-performance tools that adhere to industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development: Design and deploy end-to-end Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and complex Power BI dashboards.
- Data Modelling & Analytics: Build robust data models and DAX measures to support sophisticated business intelligence requirements.
- System Integration: Integrate Power Platform solutions with various data sources (SQL, Dataverse, SharePoint, APIs) and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Standards & Governance: Ensure all solutions meet strict performance benchmarks and data best-practice standards for security, usability, and maintainability.
- Expert Consultation: Act as the technical lead for data architecture and app logic, providing guidance on "what’s possible" within the Power Platform ecosystem.
