Power BI Frontend Engineer role focused on data analytics and visualization.

The position is based in Coimbatore, India.

NovintiX serves Life Sciences, MedTech, and Healthcare clients across the US, Ireland, and Europe.

Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and paginated reports.
Create optimized data models using Power Query and DAX.
Apply UX/UI principles for dashboard usability, accessibility, and visual storytelling.
Connect Power BI with Azure Synapse, Databricks, SQL Server, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud storage.
Implement Row-Level Security and Object-Level Security for secure reporting.
Optimize report performance through aggregations, query folding, and DirectQuery strategies.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure high-quality curated datasets.
Develop embedded analytics solutions using Power BI Embedded and the JavaScript SDK.
Support workspace governance, deployment pipelines, and report lifecycle management.
Enable self-service analytics and train business users on reporting capabilities.
Align reporting solutions with enterprise governance and regulated data-access standards.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least five years of professional Power BI development experience.
Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query.
Solid understanding of dimensional modeling concepts.
Experience with Power BI Service, including datasets, dataflows, Apps, and deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with the Azure analytics ecosystem, including Synapse, Azure SQL, and Data Lake.
Understanding of dashboard UX/UI design principles.
Strong stakeholder communication and requirements gathering skills.
Microsoft PL-300 Certification is preferred.
Experience working in regulated industries such as MedTech, Pharma, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.
Exposure to KPI reporting for operations, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, or compliance.
Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics and familiarity with Tableau or Looker.
