We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical IT Portfolio Analyst to join our team.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the performance of our IT project portfolio and overseeing financial forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and optimal project investments.
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Portfolio Manager, PCO, Financial Coordinators and other stakeholders to support project prioritization, budgeting, and resource allocation to delivers maximum value.
Your advanced analytical skills and proficiency with Power BI will empower you to provide actionable insights, optimize performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout our IT project ecosystem.

Oversee the IT project portfolio to optimize project investments and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Support project prioritization through effective processes and tools to enhance project and program selection.
Ensure compliance with governance rules and the application of processes and procedures established by the IT Business Office.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Track and assess the performance of projects and programs against defined metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Provide insights on portfolio delivery through presentations, analysis, and performance indicators. Coordinate and assist with capacity management to support project delivery.
Conduct financial analysis, leveraging actual, forecast, and budget data to provide valuable financial insights.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies for project and portfolio management.
Promote cross-functional collaboration and communication, facilitating training and ensuring clear messaging across the organization to PCOs, PMs, Managers, and Directors.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in portfolio analysis, project management, or a similar role in IT projects.
Strong expertise in Power BI, including the ability to create dynamic dashboards and visualizations.
Proven track record of presenting portfolio status and performance to executive leadership.
Deep understanding of project management software (PPM) and tools, including Clarity, JIRA, etc.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated experience in financial management and budget forecasting for IT portfolios.
Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar is a plus.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required, however must be eligible to work in Canada.
