Responsibilities
- Supervise guests using the swimming pool to ensure their safety at all times
- Prevent accidents by enforcing pool rules and safety regulations
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and rescue situations
- Administer First Aid and CPR when required
- Inspect the pool area before opening and during operating hours
- Maintain cleanliness of the swimming pool and surrounding deck
- Ensure lifesaving and safety equipment is available and in good working condition
- Report accidents, incidents, and maintenance issues promptly
- Complete daily inspection logs and required reports
- Assist guests professionally and courteously
- Monitor locker rooms and pool facilities to ensure cleanliness and order
- Support hotel management with other duties related to the recreation department
Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard Certification
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Previous experience as a Pool Lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or recreational facility is preferred
- Strong swimming and rescue skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to respond quickly during emergencies
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
