Work Location and Term
- Temporary, full-time position for a one-year term from October 2026 to October 2027.
- Hybrid work in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a minimum of two days in the office and remote work up to three days per week.
Role Overview
Conducts policy research, analysis, evidence synthesis, and knowledge translation to support nursing and midwifery regulation.
Supports interpretation, application, and continuous improvement of BCCNM Standards Support services.
Contributes expertise in research methodologies, partner engagement, program evaluation, and regulatory trend analysis.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and implement research and evidence-gathering strategies for policy analysis and Standards Support initiatives.
- Use literature reviews, surveys, focus groups, interviews, environmental scans, and document analysis to synthesize evidence.
- Develop briefing materials, key messages, reports, and recommendations for internal and external audiences.
- Identify recurring themes, emerging practice issues, knowledge gaps, and opportunities for standards clarification.
- Coordinate Standards Support surveys and report results.
- Lead assigned projects and develop Standards Support documents and resources.
