Position Overview
This is a 12-month contract position supporting administration of the Police Record Check process for employee groups across the organization.
The role ensures timely and accurate processing, tracking, secure storage, and compliance of background-check documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end Police Record Check administration for existing employees under the new regulatory standard.
- Track status, expiry dates, and follow-up requirements using SharePoint and related HRIM tools.
- Send reminders and correspondence to employees and managers about outstanding or upcoming requirements.
- Securely store and retain documents according to policy, privacy legislation, and audit requirements.
- Maintain SharePoint logs and prepare reports on completion rates, outstanding items, and compliance risks.
- Provide front-line guidance to employees and supervisors about requirements, timelines, and processes.
- Respond professionally to inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to two years of administrative experience.
