Conduct thorough assessments of designated areas to identify trees slated for harvesting.
Knowledgeably identify tree species and assess their health and quality for harvest.
Clearly mark selected trees for cutting according to prescribed guidelines for both poles and other needs.
Ensure accurate mapping of marked trees using GPS or other designated tools.
Collaborate with forestry teams to ensure efficient workflow and proper logging of marked trees.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures during all marking activities.
Maintain compliance with environmental regulations, company policies, and forestry standards.
Report any safety hazards, incidents, or violations to the Forestry Supervisor immediately.
Record accurate data related to marked trees, including species, size, and condition.
Prepare reports on marked trees, their locations, and any relevant findings.
Assist in maintaining comprehensive forestry records for analysis and planning purposes.
Ensure proper care and maintenance of marking tools, including paint, flags, and other equipment.
Report any equipment issues or needs to the appropriate supervisor for timely resolution.
Support the company's commitment to sustainable forestry practices.
Promote conservation efforts and responsible land management in all marking activities.
