Job Purpose
To install, maintain, test, and repair plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects in accordance with project specifications, Saudi codes, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install water supply, drainage, and piping systems as per approved drawings.
- Install fixtures including valves, pumps, water heaters, sanitary fittings, and accessories.
- Perform pipe cutting, threading, joining, and pressure testing.
- Read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of plumbing systems.
- Detect and troubleshoot leaks, blockages, and system faults.
- Assist in installation of firefighting piping systems where required.
- Ensure all work complies with Saudi Building Code and project requirements.
- Follow company quality procedures and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades at site.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Technical Certificate in Plumbing or related trade.
- Vocational training in plumbing works preferred.
- Valid registration / membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
Experience
- 2–5 years experience in plumbing installation or maintenance
Skills Required
- Knowledge of plumbing tools and materials.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of workplace safety requirements.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
