The position is responsible for safe, efficient, and standards-compliant operation of plumbing and electrical systems.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage, in commercial and industrial settings.
- Perform wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs on low-voltage and high-voltage systems according to NEC standards.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installation plans.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Work on construction sites while following safety protocols.
- Inspect electrical circuits and identify faults in low-voltage and high-voltage systems.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and maintain high safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven plumbing experience with additional electrical expertise is required.
- Hands-on experience with wiring, schematic reading, electrical troubleshooting, and multimeters is required.
- Construction site procedure and safety protocol familiarity is required.
- The role requires working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, power saws, drills, and framing carpentry tools is required.
- Knowledge of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems is required.
- Industrial or commercial electrician experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 28.30 to AED 34.08 per hour.
