- The role is based at the Ottawa office and is on-site; Montreal or Toronto may be considered.
The Role
Architect and scale the PLM foundation for an aerospace engineering organization whose Structures, Propulsion, Avionics, and Systems Engineering workflows are still being established.
Own PLM platform architecture and integrations end to end, making trade-offs between immediate delivery and long-term scalability.
What You Will Do
- Architect end-to-end PLM solutions aligned with engineering processes and enterprise architecture.
- Translate requirements from engineering, program, and project leads into scalable technical solutions.
- Define PLM data models, lifecycle management strategy, integrations, and governance for growing product data.
- Configure, customize, and integrate PLM with CAD, ERP, MES, and other systems.
- Set standards for design release, change management, and configuration control.
- Mentor engineers and specialists who will build and maintain the system.
