Role Overview
The PLC Engineer leads and supports the Operations and Maintenance team on shift.
The role takes a proactive approach to identifying faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, and providing solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the baggage handling system Operations and Maintenance team during shifts and ensure contractual KPIs.
- Prepare engineering change requests and support continuous system improvements.
- Lead breakdown response and guide troubleshooting for system recovery.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
- Plan, schedule, and implement maintenance according to OEM recommendations and local site requirements.
- Conduct routine and random system inspections.
- Review breakdowns and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Perform maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
- Raise and follow up hotline cases through closure.
- Prepare incident reports and validate daily reports.
