Manufacturing Engineer – APD Platform Execution A platform strategy is a crucial, enterprise-wide approach that leverages a common, flexible, and scalable vehicle architecture.

This creates investment and engineering efficiency while improving volume (scale) on parts for material cost leverage.

This strategy also enables flexibility with each platform underpinning a bandwidth of vehicles that can be interchangeably produced in all planned assembly plants.

As a Platform Execution Engineer, this pivotal, highly visible role sits within our Architecture, Program Engineering & Delivery (APD)

shaping future model programs to be leaders in the industry using the platform approach.

The APD-Platform Execution team acts on early insights with the Product Development (PD) team to optimize all aspects of new model production.

As part of this team, you will interact directly with leadership to deliver the following as it relates to the three major Manufacturing functions of Body Construction Engineering, Global Paint Engineering, and Final Assembly Engineering.
