As a Platform Engineer, you'll work across cloud, infrastructure, DevOps and platform engineering domains to design and deliver platform capabilities that support teams across ICT. Design, build and maintain reusable platform products and services that support development teams across Lifeblood
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and automation capabilities
Create, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Provide consultation and guidance to internal teams on consuming platform engineering products and services
Conduct customer interviews and proactively engage stakeholders to understand requirements and pain points
Translate technical concepts into clear business language that supports decision-making and adoption
Monitor success measures, gather feedback and showcase platform achievements across the organisation
Implement rapid feedback loops to continually improve platform products and services.
Contribute to platform roadmaps, backlogs and strategic initiatives
Mentor and support colleagues, helping build platform engineering capability across the organisation

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) and platform automation
CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar languages
Git and modern source control practices
Experience with Identity, security and access management concepts
Observability, monitoring, metrics and alerting practices
Networking fundamentals including DNS, IP routing and network segmentation
A customer-first mindset and a genuine interest in solving problems for internal teams
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability
The ability to gather and interpret customer feedback to drive platform improvements
