Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform across GCP and OCI
- Operate, maintain, and optimise managed Kubernetes environments (GKE & OKE)
- Manage core platform components: Kong API Gateway, Istio/Service Mesh, Vault, ExternalDNS
- Implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and integrate CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy, configure, and support observability tooling: Dynatrace, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana
- Strengthen platform security through SAST, DAST, RBAC, mTLS, image scanning, and DevSecOps controls
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execution aligned with RTO/RPO targets and SAMA IT Governance
Requirements
- Saudi citizenship (no sponsorship or visa support available)
- Experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role
- Expertise in Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation
- Experience with Kubernetes (GKE/OKE)
- Knowledge of GitOps workflows (ArgoCD) and CI/CD
- Familiarity with observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Understanding of DevSecOps and security controls

Role Overview
- Senior Platform Engineer for a major technology programme in Riyadh.
- 12 month freelance contract, 100% on site, 5 days per week (40 hours).
- Only Saudi citizens can be considered; no sponsorship or visa support available.
Key Responsibilities
