Role Overview
ClearRoute is hiring a Platform Engineer to join a client’s core platform team.
The role builds and operates shared platforms and tooling that help engineering teams build, test, and release software consistently.
The work focuses on scalable, secure, automated infrastructure, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and developer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain shared cloud platforms and services, primarily using Azure.
- Develop reusable infrastructure and automation with Terraform and scripting.
- Create CI/CD frameworks using GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, or similar tools.
- Enable self-service capabilities for teams to deploy and manage workloads.
- Support Kubernetes, containers, networking, and identity integrations.
- Implement security, compliance, and scalability guardrails and policies.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and platform performance standards.
- Resolve engineering workflow and deployment pipeline bottlenecks.
- Improve tooling, reliability, delivery speed, and developer experience with engineering teams.
- Support incident triage, including security-related tickets.
