Plate Roll Machine Operator

The Roll Machine Operator is responsible for lifting steel plates of various sizes using an overhead crane with various lifting clamps, hooks, and chains to position the plate into a CNC roll machine.

The operator utilizes a control panel to operate the machine, which rolls the steel plate to flatten or shape it depending on the job requirements.

The Roll Operator continually monitors the quality and flatness/shape of the product throughout the process.

• Support all TTI/FSS Company and OSHA Safety Policies to ensure they are followed
• Operate overhead crane to load, unload, and position plate on roll machine
• Roll product within specified tolerance on drawings
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the foreman or supervisor
• Accurately document applicable job, product, and quality information utilizing computer and paper documents as required

• Additional responsibilities or duties may be required as needed in support of company operations
