Required Experience and Abilities
- Hands-on experience operating polymer or plastic extrusion lines.
- Practical experience with PVC, TPE, TPV, and other thermoplastic compounds.
- Ability to independently handle machine setup, operation, and changeover.
- Knowledge of die and tooling installation, adjustment, and alignment.
- Ability to monitor temperature, pressure, speed, feed rate, and cooling.
- Ability to troubleshoot common extrusion defects and maintain product quality.
- Basic ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and production instructions.
- Willingness to work in shifts where required.
Role Responsibilities
- Monitor product dimensions, appearance, and quality parameters during production.
- Support scrap reduction, productivity, and machine efficiency.
- Perform basic operator-level machine checks and support preventive maintenance.
- Follow quality, safety, housekeeping, and production procedures.
- Work effectively with engineers, supervisors, quality, and maintenance teams.
