Role Overview
Lead operations at a commercial-scale SCM production facility in Mississauga that uses CO2 for decarbonization.
This is a full-time, in-person role focused on plant performance, site safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production control, safety compliance, and team performance to optimize plant functionality.
- Lead daily operations according to project specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders, resolve issues, and maintain productivity.
- Support planning, monitor costs, manage reporting and work permits, and ensure HSE compliance.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, safety, cost control, and overall plant performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bring 15–20 years of experience in an industrial processing environment, including at least 5 years in leadership.
- Lead cross-functional teams and improve efficiency, safety, and cost control.
- Know industrial systems and workflows in cement, potash, oil and gas, clean energy, or similar sectors.
- Have experience in production management, maintenance, and process optimization.
Technical and Safety Skills
- Be familiar with CMMS, ERP systems such as SAP, and data analysis tools including Excel and Power BI.
- Understand Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles and heavy-industry health and safety practices.
- Mechanical or electrical trades certification, technical-document interpretation, and scheduling experience are assets.
- Hold a valid driver's license and Standard First Aid certification.
