Plant Nursery Incharge - Customer service

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily nursery operations and monitor the health, quality, growth, and maintenance of plants.
• Plan and supervise watering, fertilization, pruning, trimming, pest control, and disease-management activities.
• Maintain plant inventory, stock records, availability, labeling, arrangement, and organization.
• Monitor plant requirements based on species, season, and UAE weather conditions.
• Identify plant diseases, pests, nutrient deficiencies, and other plant health issues.
• Coordinate plant procurement, deliveries, stock movement, and preparation of plants for landscaping projects.
• Supervise nursery workers, assign daily tasks, and maintain nursery cleanliness.
• Coordinate with maintenance and project teams regarding plant requirements.
• Maintain records of plant losses, damaged plants, purchases, and stock levels.
• Ensure nursery operations follow company quality and safety standards.
• Recommend suitable plants for Dubai and UAE climate conditions.
• Assist management with nursery planning, plant selection, and purchasing requirements.

Requirements

• Experience managing a plant nursery, landscaping nursery, or agricultural facility.
• Strong knowledge of ornamental plants, trees, shrubs, indoor plants, and seasonal plants.
• Knowledge of plant care, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and disease management.
• Ability to manage nursery workers and daily operations.
• Knowledge of plant inventory and stock management.
• Experience in the UAE landscaping or nursery industry is preferred.
• An agriculture or horticulture qualification is advantageous.
• Good communication and leadership skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities is required.
