About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years leading plant operations, and expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement plant operational strategies aligned with business objectives and production targets
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, production planning, maintenance, quality assurance, and inventory management
- Lead plant teams to achieve productivity, efficiency, safety, quality, and cost performance goals
- Monitor plant performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), production metrics, and operational dashboards
- Develop and manage plant budgets, resource allocation, capital expenditure, and cost optimization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and industry standards
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, procurement, logistics, quality, and executive leadership to support business objectives
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence
- Oversee equipment utilization, maintenance planning, asset reliability, and facility management activities
- Manage workforce planning, employee development, performance management, and succession planning within the plant
- Prepare operational reports, production forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Master's degree or professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, APICS/ASCM, or equivalent are advantageous
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, plant operations, production management, or industrial operations
- 3+ years of experience leading plant operations, manufacturing facilities, or large production teams preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality systems, maintenance management, and supply chain operations
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and operational excellence initiatives
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), production analytics, and industrial automation technologies
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, financial management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, decision making, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating plant leadership and operational teams
