- Knowledge of Power Generation systems, such as turbines, generators, and associated auxiliaries
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering)
- Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or power plant environments
- Working knowledge of industry codes and standards, safety and environmental regulations, and reliability engineering practices
- Proficiency in engineering and plant monitoring software
- Strong analytical skills and clear technical communication in English
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams

Role Description
- The Plant Engineer is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant facilities and equipment at IGPS’s sites.
- This is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi, working closely with operations, maintenance, and HSE teams.
- Day to day tasks include monitoring plant performance, diagnosing technical issues, coordinating maintenance activities, and optimizing processes to improve reliability and output.
- The role involves reviewing technical data, preparing reports, supporting shutdown and turnaround planning, and implementing engineering solutions for plant modifications and upgrades.
- The Plant Engineer also contributes to compliance with safety and environmental regulations and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Plant Engineering, including design review, performance analysis, and implementation of technical solutions for oil and gas facilities.
