About the Role
Hydro Extrusions seeks a Plant Controller to oversee financial integrity, performance, and compliance at its Portland, OR plant. The role acts as a strategic advisor to plant management, leading budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and cost reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Complete monthly closing cycles to reflect financial position of the plant
- Direct and oversee monthly physical inventories
- Provide financial analysis support to line managers and Plant Manager
- Direct and complete planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Monitor financial policies, practices, and procedures
- Ensure internal controls to safeguard Company's Assets
- Direct activities and provide leadership to procurement employees
- Manage capital spending requests and develop business cases
- Partner with plant manager and department leaders to develop and monitor budgets and performance metrics
- Serve as financial leader for continuous improvement and cost reduction programs
- Supervise and develop plant level finance team
- Act as liaison between plant and region/corporate finance teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 8 years of progressive accounting experience with focus in cost accounting and managerial experience in a manufacturing facility
- 5 years progressive experience in a key leadership/management role
- Fluency in English
- Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and proprietary full ERP systems
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Job Summary
- The Plant Controller is a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for financial integrity, performance, and compliance.
- Acts as strategic advisor to plant manager and region controller.
- Ensures timely financial reporting, leads budgeting and forecasting, manages internal controls, supports capital planning, and champions continuous improvement.

Required Education/Experience

Pay Range
- $145K $165K annually with up to 22% yearly bonus.
