About the role
Balfour Beatty Power T&D is recruiting a Planning Manager to support delivery of a growing portfolio of substation projects across the South East.
The role supports the Senior Planning Manager by overseeing strategic planning and scheduling for multiple construction projects.
The role leads planning activities across the project lifecycle and drives robust, achievable programmes aligned with business objectives.
The role has flexible location across the South East but requires regular travel to project sites and stakeholder locations.

What you'll be doing
- Identify planning scope, major constraints, contract requirements, quantities, and factors affecting project programmes.
- Lead collaborative development of tender sequencing and methodologies across design, procurement, and construction.
- Oversee planning deliverables including programmes, planning philosophies, presentations, reports, and tender programmes.
- Oversee production, management, and maintenance of contract programmes during the contract stage.
- Evaluate critical paths, advise project teams on corrective action, maintain baselines, and execute change control.
