Key Responsibilities

• **Strategic Planning:**
• Develop and implement project management frameworks and strategies to optimize planning processes across multiple projects.
• **Team Leadership:**
• Lead and mentor a team of planning engineers, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• **Project Scheduling:**
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive project schedules, including key tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
• **Risk Management:**
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and constraints within project programmes, implementing proactive measures to address delays.
• **Stakeholder Coordination:**
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project alignment with strategic goals and client expectations.
• **Performance Monitoring:**
• Track project performance against established timelines and budgets, analyzing data to improve efficiency and control costs.
• **Reporting:**
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, highlighting critical activities, delays, and mitigation strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
• **Site Oversight:**
• Conduct site visits to verify progress, compliance with project plans, and ensure proper resource allocation.

About You

• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• **Experience:**
• 16+ years of professional experience in project planning and scheduling, with a proven track record in a managerial capacity.
• **Industry Expertise:**
• Extensive experience working on high-rise towers, hotel developments, or large-scale building projects within the GCC.
• **Technical Skills:**
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar planning software, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• **Leadership Qualities:**
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• **Process Improvement:**
• A deep understanding of construction sequencing, resource planning, and cost monitoring, with a focus on continuous improvement.
