Planning Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts across food, beverage, and non-food categories.
• Lead demand and supply planning to maintain product availability while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
• Analyze sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and operational requirements to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor inventory performance, stock coverage, and replenishment plans.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
• Use SAP and advanced Excel to create reports, dashboards, and planning insights.
• Identify supply chain risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Support monthly planning reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improve planning efficiency and inventory optimization across multiple restaurant operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, logistics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, or supply chain planning.
• Strong experience in restaurants, hospitality, catering, food service, FMCG food, or retail food sectors.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience managing both food and non-food categories.
• Ability to turn large and complex datasets into actionable business insights.
• GCC experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Background

• Candidates working as Demand & Supply Planning Manager, Demand Planning Manager, Supply Planning Manager, S&OP Manager, Inventory Planning Manager, Forecasting Manager, or Supply Chain Planning Manager will be highly regarded.
