Role Overview
Lead planning across all phases of real estate project development, from initiation through successful completion.
Set milestones and targets for design, procurement, construction, and handover while coordinating development strategy and forecasts.
Planning and Project Controls
- Develop and document master development plans covering project launches, procurement, design development, NOCs, construction, and handover.
- Prepare executive and department reports, trend charts, and schedule analyses across the design and construction portfolio.
- Submit regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports using established templates.
- Track development programs against milestones and provide proactive delay alerts and early warnings.
- Analyze project progress and impacts, and review vendor claims and extension of time recommendations.
- Highlight potential cost and time impacts to the CDO, function heads, and commercial team.
- Maintain change logs and manage changes in scope, schedule, and resources.
Scheduling Management
- Review planning processes and establish guidelines for reporting and scheduling management and control.
- Ensure consistent scheduling parameters and reporting across all projects.
- Review consultant and contractor baseline programs for hidden scheduling risks, excessive float, and unrealistic links.
- Oversee multiple packages and devise scope-packaging strategies to support interim project targets.
Leadership and Coordination
- Participate in project management review meetings and report project status to the CDO and function heads.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to promote accountability and ownership of targets.
- Assist the Development team with planning and scheduling techniques.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management that support department and company success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- SP or equivalent scheduling certification.
- At least 15 years of experience with a real estate developer.
- Experience delivering multi-use masterplan developments, horizontal buildings, and high-rise buildings across UAE jurisdictions.
