About the Role
Qatar Construction Technique Company is hiring a Planning Engineer with Oil and Gas experience to provide planning and scheduling support for onshore and offshore projects. The role involves defining construction activities, preparing schedules, tracking progress, and using Primavera P3.

Responsibilities
- Define construction activities, resources (manpower & equipment), and logistic requirements
- Prepare short and long term construction schedules, identify key milestones, manpower histogram, and S curve
- Provide a precise method of measuring physical progress and definition of activity completion
- Track, monitor, and control the schedule; provide corrective actions to recover schedule delay
- Ensure coordination between various divisions, sections, and disciplines during construction execution
- Prepare comprehensive construction execution report for evaluation and future reference
- Administer Primavera P3, including consistency of database structure
- Provide Primavera P3 training where required
Requirements
- Degree or diploma from a recognized Engineering Institution
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as Technical Planner associated with oil and gas facility
- Working knowledge of Primavera P3
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills

Role Description
- To provide planning and scheduling system support for Operation projects work activities for the upgrade of the onshore and offshore areas.
- Close liaison with the Qatargas Planning Specialist and Construction Group.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Defines Construction activities, resources (manpower & equipment), and logistic requirements.
- Prepare short and long term construction schedules for activities identified, identify key milestones, manpower histogram, and S curve for each WO.
- Schedule shall be presented in PERT or CPN planning technique to various levels of Detail(I V as appropriate) with activity duration of early finish, late finish & most likely (as Control).
- Provides a precise method of measuring physical progress & definition of activity completion.
- Tracks, monitors, and controls the schedule for each WO. Where necessary, provides corrective actions to recover schedule delay and provides look ahead of schedules.
- Ensure coordination between various divisions, sections, and disciplines during construction execution to ensure that all act in harmony for smooth construction execution.
- Prepares comprehensive construction execution report for evaluation and future reference.
- Administration of Primavera P3, including consistency of database structure.
- Provides Primavera P3 training where required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Shall have a degree or diploma from a recognized Engineering Institution.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as Technical Planner associated with oil and gas facility.
- Computer skills should include a working knowledge of technical planning utilising Primavera P3 are preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.

- Pay: From QAR 8,000.00 per month
