Role Overview
Planning Engineer or Planning Consultant role for a major mixed-use hospitality development in Qatar.
The position works within the main contractor's project team.
The contract duration is six months and may be extended.
Workplace and Location
- The role is based in Doha, Qatar, and is site-based.
- Qatar NOC or transferable visa status is preferred.
Role Profile
- The source requests 8–10 years of experience in planning or scheduling roles.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
Planning and Progress Responsibilities
- Develop and update baseline, current, and look-ahead programmes using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Monitor progress through reports, S-curves, and productivity tracking.
- Conduct critical path and resource analysis and identify programme risks and constraints.
- Prepare two- to four-week look-ahead programmes with site execution teams.
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports for management-level progress visibility.
- Prepare periodic planning and progress reports for project management and stakeholders.
