Role overview
The Planning Analyst will evaluate and improve organizational planning processes by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing insights for decision-making.
The role supports planning teams embedded with global business units and collaborates across finance, operations, and other departments.
What you will do
- Gather and analyze data to support planning activities.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations.
- Evaluate current planning processes and recommend improvements.
- Work with finance, operations, and other departments to align planning activities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
- Assist in developing annual and long-term strategic plans.
- Conduct scenario analysis and forecasting.
- Maintain and update planning models and tools.
Skills and qualifications
- Degree in engineering or technology is required, with relevant disciplines including chemical, mechanical, civil, electrical, production, industrial, plastic, petrochemical, or electronics engineering.
- A GPA of 6.5 or higher is required.
- Three to seven years of experience in data analysis and planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
