Job Summary
Support logistics operations servicing the Large Engine Center through problem solving and continuous improvement.
Identify recurring operational challenges and develop sustainable corrective actions.
Schedule and Location
- The role is based in Lafayette, Indiana, and is scheduled for third shift Monday through Friday from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM Eastern Time.
- The position requires working onsite five days per week.
- The position is included in a planned move of many Lafayette operations positions to Lebanon, Indiana within six months.
Responsibilities
- Lead value-stream improvement initiatives focused on people, quality, velocity, cost, and customer satisfaction.
- Use operational data, metrics, and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support Lean initiatives, project implementations, future-state initiatives, and facility transitions.
- Coordinate readiness, risk communication, response plans, escalations, and recovery activities.
- Coach Section Managers and Team Leads on problem solving, decision making, and leadership practices.
- Provide visibility into operational performance, project status, customer concerns, and emerging risks.
