Planner & Scheduler

We're looking for someone with a strong maintenance and planning background who can work across a technically diverse Utilities portfolio and effectively engage with multiple stakeholders to achieve safe, reliable and cost-effective maintenance outcomes.

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team. • Trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar) with demonstrated experience in maintenance execution within a heavy industrial, mining or utilities environment. • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler role supporting fixed plant, utilities, processing, infrastructure or heavy industrial assets. • Demonstrated experience using SAP PM and maintenance work management systems to develop maintenance plans, schedule work and manage maintenance backlogs. • Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles, including resource loading, materials management, contractor coordination and outage planning. • Experience developing maintenance plans and schedules for statutory and compliance-based maintenance programs. • Demonstrated experience planning and scheduling inspection, testing and maintenance programs for fixed fire protection systems and other statutory assets. • Knowledge of Australian Standards and statutory inspection, testing and maintenance requirements relating to fixed fire protection systems. • Ability to analyse asset performance, maintenance history and failure data to optimise maintenance strategies and improve asset reliability. • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across operational, technical and contractor teams. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and maintenance cost control processes.

• Experience working across electrical distribution networks, fixed fire protection systems, water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, hydrocarbon storage and dispensing assets, or similar Utilities infrastructure. • Experience working within asset management and reliability-centred maintenance frameworks. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Project or related planning and reporting tools. • Experience supporting shutdowns, major maintenance campaigns or capital project execution.
