Key responsibilities may include:
Developing detailed shutdown and maintenance work packs

As a Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimising maintenance and shutdown schedules to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective project delivery.
Key responsibilities may include:
Developing detailed shutdown and maintenance work packs
Creating and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or SAP
Coordinating labour, materials, tooling, and equipment requirements
Working closely with maintenance, operations, and project teams
Monitoring schedule performance and identifying critical path activities
Producing progress reports, forecasts, and resource plans
Supporting budgeting, estimating, and maintenance planning activities
Driving continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes
To be successful, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within mining, heavy industry, resources, energy, or manufacturing environments
Experience supporting shutdowns, turnarounds, or fixed plant maintenance projects
Strong understanding of maintenance work management systems
Experience using Primavera P6, SAP, MS Project, or similar planning software
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Trade qualification, engineering background, or relevant tertiary qualification
SAP PM experience
Fixed plant maintenance experience
Rio Tinto, BMA, Anglo American, Glencore, or other major site experience
Working knowledge of risk management and maintenance strategies
Queensland mining or heavy industrial site experience
