The Processing Operations Planner is responsible for developing and executing short-term and long-term operations plans and schedules for the Concentrator at Pinto Valley Mine. The position works closely with maintenance, operations, and support teams to optimize equipment availability, improve reliability, and ensure alignment with site performance targets and SAP work management processes.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or operational planning and scheduling, preferably in mining or heavy industrial operations
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, operations, or related technical roles
• Strong knowledge of maintenance or operational planning, scheduling, and work management processes
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook
• Experience using SAP or similar work management systems
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Experience planning maintenance/operational tasks for mining equipment, facilities, concentrator, SXEW, or tailings operations
• SAP experience with Asset Management or planning modules
• Background as a maintenance planner, supervisor, craftsperson, or engineer
• Combination of office-based planning work and field-based coordination in an active mining operation
• Approximately 80% office work and 20% field interaction
• Walking on uneven ground and navigating industrial work areas
• Exposure to dust, noise, heat, and varying weather conditions
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in operational areas
All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical exam, drug and alcohol test, and background check. All positions require a pre-placement physical examination to ensure candidates are 'fit for duty’. Additional training and/or testing may be required.
