We are seeking a Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and update project schedules for construction projects using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. - Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Develop baseline programs, resource loaded schedules, and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules on a regular basis.
- Identify critical activities and monitor critical path performance.
- Analyze project delays and prepare extension of time (EOT) and delay analysis reports when required.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to collect progress data.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Track procurement, material delivery, and subcontractor activities against the project schedule.
- Evaluate schedule impacts resulting from variations, design changes, and unforeseen conditions.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide planning recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with contractual planning and reporting requirements.
- Support tender planning activities by preparing tender programs, manpower histograms, and methodology schedules.
Requirements
- Experience in developing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
