As a member of the maintenance planning team, you will ensure maintenance activities are efficiently planned and scheduled to maximize equipment availability and workforce utilization. Working in a mining or industrial operation, you will apply maintenance planning best practices to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by developing detailed work plans, supporting maintenance processes, and identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and job execution efficiency.
Develop and maintain detailed maintenance work plans for annual shutdown activities, ensuring scope, labour, materials, tooling, permits, isolation requirements, and execution sequencing are identified and ready prior to execution.
Identify contractor-dependent work early and coordinate required purchase orders, materials, equipment, mobilization, and other prerequisites to ensure work is execution-ready.
Support shutdown scope development, schedule integration, progress tracking, and management of emerging or found work during execution.
Participate in shutdown planning and coordination meetings, proactively identifying schedule conflicts, resource constraints, critical-path activities, and opportunities to improve execution efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
Monitor and interpret maintenance performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

The Key Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
