About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organized Placement Intern to support our placement and recruitment activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident in communication, and eager to learn about talent acquisition, employer outreach, and student/candidate management. This role offers hands-on experience in recruitment processes, corporate networking, data handling, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating placement activities such as student registrations, resume collection, and interview scheduling.
- Maintain and update candidate databases, job postings, placement trackers, and employer contacts.
- Communicate with companies for internship and job opportunities, sharing profiles and following up on hiring updates.
- Support the preparation and improvement of student resumes, portfolios, and LinkedIn profiles.
- Help organize placement drives, career fairs, workshops, and pre-placement talks.
- Assist in screening resumes and shortlisting candidates based on job requirements.
- Coordinate interviews (online/offline) and ensure smooth communication between students and recruiters.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and placement statistics for internal use.
- Handle administrative tasks such as documentation, emails, and scheduling.
- Support the placement team with research on industry trends and hiring patterns.
