Role Overview
Lead piping stress analysis and coordinate MEPF, piping engineering, BIM modelling, detailing, and project deliverables for international projects.
The role requires technical expertise in pipe stress analysis, hands-on software experience, team leadership, project coordination, and client handling.
Education and Experience
- Relevant experience is stated as 5–10 years in pipe stress analysis or piping engineering.
- A B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech qualification in Mechanical or Piping engineering is specified.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage pipe stress analysis activities for international projects.
- Develop, review, and validate pipe stress models using Bentley AutoPIPE, CAESAR II, or similar software.
- Plan and allocate work to stress engineers and MEPF/BIM teams.
- Review stress models, calculations, support arrangements, and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate piping stress requirements with MEPF, piping, structural, mechanical, and BIM teams.
- Review piping layouts, isometrics, P&IDs, equipment connections, and support requirements.
- Guide the team in resolving flexibility, thermal expansion, support, and nozzle-load issues.
- Ensure deliverables comply with applicable codes, project specifications, and client standards.
- Monitor project progress, quality, resources, and deadlines.
- Lead technical discussions and coordination meetings with international clients and consultants.
- Handle client comments, technical queries, and deliverable reviews.
- Support estimation, planning, proposals, and technical discussions for new projects.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Bentley AutoPIPE and/or CAESAR II is required.
- Knowledge of AutoPIPE Advanced is listed as an advantage.
- Strong understanding of ASME B31.3/B31.1 and piping stress principles is required.
- Experience with thermal, sustained, occasional, wind, and seismic load analysis is required.
- Knowledge of pipe supports, flexibility, equipment nozzle loads, piping systems, and MEPF/BIM workflows is required.
- Experience with international projects and team management, coordination, communication, and client handling is required.
Compensation
- Pay is up to ₹100,000 per month.
