Position Purpose
As Pipeline Operations Specialist, you will support the Europe Regional Pipeline Team in coordinating follow-ups, timelines, tracking, and operational consistency across a broad range of pipeline-related activities. You will help translate regional pipeline inputs and priorities into structured actions, insights, and follow-up. In addition, you will support operational processes, maintain visibility across open topics, and ensure effective alignment with cross-functional initiatives.
This role is designed for an experienced professional who can work confidently across functions, manage multiple operational topics in parallel, and bring strong discipline to planning, tracking, reporting, process support, and data analysis. The role requires reliability, good judgement, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment.
Your key responsibilities
- Support the Europe Regional Pipeline Team in planning, coordinating, and following up on pipeline-related processes across the region, including wishlist consolidation, selection processes, regional allocations, and related governance steps.
- Track and maintain a single source of truth for key regional pipeline topics, including deliverables, timelines, dependencies, risks, open items, governance status, relevant files, and follow-up requirements.
- Consolidate and analyze inputs, operational updates, and pipeline information into clear materials, summaries, reports, and dashboards to support visibility on priorities, risks, progress, and decision-making.
- Support the operating rhythm for meetings and discussions on regional pipeline topics, including preparation, coordination, and structured follow-up. Ensure meeting outcomes, decisions, owners, deadlines, and next steps are clearly documented, traceable, and followed through.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and escalate topics appropriately to support timely execution across cross-functional pipeline activities, in alignment with the team.
- Support maintenance of pipeline systems, databases, tracking tools, templates, and data flows, including SANITY where applicable, ensuring data quality, governance adherence, and compliance with global requirements/KPIs.
- Contribute to regional pipeline process consistency and operational support across topics such as submission planning, launch cancellations, reporting flows, and tool-related follow-up.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline activities, improve visibility, and strengthen discipline across recurring regional pipeline processes.
Essential requirements
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in pipeline operations, project management, business operations, pipeline coordination, or a similar cross-functional role.
- Strong organizational, planning, coordination, and follow-through skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain visibility across complex topics, and work effectively in a matrix, regional, and cross-functional environment.
- Experience consolidating inputs and preparing clear materials, updates, reports, or dashboards.
- Clear and professional communication skills across stakeholder groups.
- Experience with pipeline, data analysis, reporting, portfolio management, pharmaceutical operations, or related operational processes is a strong advantage.
- Strong project management and PMO skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required; experience with Power BI, Salesforce, AI tools, SANITY, SAP, or similar systems is an advantage.
