Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pipeline construction and maintenance activities, including planning work sequences, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate crews, manage heavy equipment usage, and ensure adherence to technical specifications, safety regulations, and DEWA, DM, RTA requirements.
- Inspect work sites, identify and resolve issues, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with project engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in toolbox talks, enforce health and safety standards, and mentor team members to uphold performance and quality expectations.
Requirements
- Strong supervisory skills, including team coordination, task allocation, and performance monitoring
- Experience with heavy equipment operations related to pipeline installation, excavation, and site preparation
- Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with crews, engineers, clients, and subcontractors
- Practical skills in carpentry and general construction relevant to pipeline chambers, supports, and related structures
- Maintenance knowledge for pipeline systems, valves, fittings, and associated infrastructure
- Relevant experience in pipeline construction or infrastructure projects, preferably within the UAE and under DEWA, DM, RTA, etc. standards
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and the ability to enforce safe work practices on site
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work plans
- Minimum of a high school diploma or technical/vocational certification in civil, mechanical, or related fields
- Proven ability to work in outdoor, physically demanding environments and adapt to changing site conditions
