The Pipeline Engineering Manager leads pipeline and associated facilities engineering for domestic and international projects from studies and FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup. The role provides technical direction, integrates multidisciplinary teams, manages engineering performance and risk, develops personnel, and delivers safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions aligned with project and client objectives.
Engineering Leadership and Technical Oversight • Lead engineering for transmission and gathering pipelines, compressor and pump stations, meter and valve stations, terminals, and launcher and receiver facilities. • Provide technical direction and approve key studies, calculations, specifications, design decisions, and deliverables. • Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, client requirements, and Fluor work processes while promoting safety, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Multi-Discipline Integration and Project Delivery • Lead integrated teams across pipeline, process, mechanical, piping, civil, structural, geotechnical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, automation, telecommunications, and construction. • Manage scope and interfaces across disciplines, vendors, contractors, clients, and execution centers, considering constructability, operability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance. • Develop engineering execution strategies and monitor progress, productivity, budgets, staffing, schedules, changes, and forecasts.
People, Client, and Business Leadership • Lead, mentor, develop, and retain engineering personnel; support performance management, recruitment, workforce planning, and succession development. • Build a high-performing culture based on accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, continuous learning, and client service. • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and project leadership; lead presentations, reviews, workshops, and critical technical discussions.
